What is the Tintic Reds ABV?
An adjustable base valve for your fork: rider-adjustable high-speed and low-speed compression, adjustable by hand at the top of the fork, no tools. Stiffen or soften the entire compression range to match the track, the discipline, or how your arms feel two hours in.
Which bikes will the ABV fit?
At launch, 2024 and newer WP closed-cartridge forks, both Xplor CC and Xact. More platforms are under evaluation.
When can I get an ABV, and what will it cost?
We're targeting fall 2026 and finalizing pricing now. Join the waitlist and you'll be the first to know both.
Does the ABV replace the cone valve or work with it?
They're partners, not rivals. The cone valve sets the fork's damping character; the ABV moves that whole range up or down to match conditions. Run either alone or both together. Full details at launch.
Will I be able to install the ABV myself?
Yes, that's part of the design. ABV installation is dramatically simpler than a mid-valve install, no cartridge disassembly, DIY-friendly. Full instructions ship with the product.
