The short version
Unused kits can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Customer pays return shipping. Refund issued once the kit is back in our hands and verified unopened.
What qualifies as "unused"
- Original packaging intact, not torn or written on.
- All kit components present (cone, piston band, install reference card).
- No installation marks on the cone or piston.
What doesn't qualify
- Kits that have been installed in a fork, even if removed before riding.
- Kits with packaging damage that suggests opening or handling beyond inspection.
- Custom or special-order configurations (none currently offered).
How to start a return
Email us within 30 days of delivery. We'll send a return shipping address and a short note to include in the box. Once the kit arrives back at Tintic Works and we verify it's unopened, we issue the refund to the original payment method. Most refunds clear within 5 business days of arrival.
Defects
If a kit arrives defective or damaged in shipping, that's a different conversation. Contact us right away. We'll cover return shipping and ship a replacement at our cost.
Warranty vs refund
The 30-day refund policy is for buyer's remorse on unused kits. Defects, failures, or issues during the product's life are covered by the lifetime warranty, which is a separate policy.
